To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the national station building, national rice and malt from Tochigi Prefecture grown by employees' relatives,
It is a Japanese Rice Lager made with domestic hops (Shinshu early and Little Star) as the main axis.
The taste is soft and smooth, and the umami of puffy barley and rice slowly spreads.
The gentle floral scent derived from hops overlaps with the refreshingness reminiscent of lemon.
The gentle bitterness melts into the light drinking mouth, and the aftertaste quickly disappears cleanly, and it is a finish that you will never get tired of drinking.
Currently, it is still not common in Japanese craft breweries to brew beer using domestic ingredients.
Due to industrial structure and distribution constraints, there is a situation where we have to rely on overseas raw materials.
This beer is an expression of intent on that premise.
100 years from 1926 to 2026. At the end of the time that has flowed in this city, while imagining the scenery of the next 100 years.
In the future, domestic beer will be enjoyed as a matter of course in this city, and people will gather at the roundabout in front of the station, and a beer festival will be held.
I hoped that such a scenery would become a reality, and I put that feeling on the label.
Until now, we have been releasing beer with the year's name every November to coincide with the anniversary of Kuniburu.
As the milestone of the 100th anniversary of the opening of Kunitachi Station this year, the flow will stop once and continue to prepare this "2026" throughout the year.
At the moment, we use a little foreign ingredients for yeast and hops, but we will also work on bringing them closer to domestic ingredients as we continue to make them.
